In the dark we will go marching through the smog.
Down to the bar, no distance to far.
We will rant & chant & holler through the night,
Our boisterous plight, might lead us to a fight.
We will congregate like a choir.
Pillaging & burning on the way.
The sound of howling dogs will come before us.
Porch lights of worried neighbors light the way.
Once we have landed at the harbor.
Pleasantries & kindness they evade.
Moses puts a bill down for his liquor
Sobriety quickly begens to fade.
The Jewls box plays a song,
And we all sing along.
In a band of mighty souls we belong.
We drink the liquor dry,
All the whiskey, rum & rye.
When you are a God you never die.
We illuminate like a fire,
Bring the whole damn bar down to it’s knees.
Each a keg of beer we require.
With a thirst so great, it’s bigger than the seas.
One by one we turn the glasses upside down.
We pound each one to keep the earth below.
If we don’t it spins to quickly round & round.
Like a carousel out of control.
There’s nothing left to conquer.
Everybody’s beds are full tonight.
For all you other FOLKers left lonely
There will be tomorrow night
When the Jewls box plays a song,
And we all sing along.
In a band of mighty souls we belong.
